What is the WHA Winter Secret Gift Exchange?
The WHA Secret Gift Exchange is a fan event where participants make and upload gifts, in the form of edits, art, fanfic, etc in the theme of a given prompt, and then 'exchange' them digitally!Firstly, participants will sign-up using the Google Form provided. You will provide your name, @, and other relevant information there. You will also provide a prompt—your secret gift giver will use this prompt to make their piece for you! This prompt can be anything, which can include Christmas-related themes, but does not have to! Anything winter related will work!Then, prompts will be handed out through DMs secretly! There will be a period of time, usually 4-5 weeks, for participants to work on their pieces.On the day of the exchange, participants will post their piece on their relevant social media, @'ing their partner (and using the '#WHAwsge2022') to reveal themself as their secret gift giver!
Quidelines
For your piece, whether you're doing a fic, art, or whatever it may be, there is no minimum or maximum requirement for your deliverable. This event is open to all, with people of different abilities, constraints, and so on! The only guideline here is that we ask your piece to be your best effort and is something you feel comfortable receiving as a gift yourself—and, of course, that it aligns with the given prompt!
The WHA Secret Gift Exchange is a fully SFW event! As such, we do not permit content that would be considered NSFW.NSFW content would encompass:
Graphic depictions of violence or sexual content, depictions of underage, non-con, incest, pedophilia, bestiality, abuse, excessive drug/alcohol use, etc.For Ao3 users, anything above a 'Teen' rating would not be permitted.Major Character Death (MCD) is permitted so long as it does not involve gore or graphic/violent death.Neither prompts nor submissions should include this kind of content!
